rooms
according to the website, a minimum 2 nights stay is required! should we go ahead with the original idea or switch chalet?
supposing we continue with a 2 nights stay, we have to pay minimum <-$420 (EXCLUDING food), assuming we are not members. assuming we all go (which is wrong) then each person pays for the room = $420/37 people = $11.35 approx
the room has 2 regular beds and 2 pull out beds (4 beds only lol)
lunch @ 2nd day
on the 2nd day for lunch, we could eat leftovers (cheapo) or go out to eat (individual payment)
thus i shall not calculate this section.
dinner
unless u enjoy having bbq for 2 nights in a row.. we need to plan 1 night dinner.
recommended to go out/order mcdonalds/pizza hut/takeaway/whatever because the appointed caterer is SO EXPENSIVE ($15 min per person)
thus i shall not calculate this section either.
bbq
suppose we have a bbq on the 1st/2nd night.
costa sands resort only approves 1 bbq wholesale caterer (link)
if we order the basic/cheapest package for 30 pax (40 looks like too much food, unrealistic!) then we have to pay $232.63 in total.
the package includes:
-150 sticks of chicken satay
-3 packs of satay sauce
-90 buffalo wings
-30 chicken hotdogs
-48 crab sticks
-10 butter sweet corn
-10 sweet potatoes
-30 garlic breads
-1 packet of marshmallows
-30 otahs
-3 large bowls of BBQ noodles
-40 fried fish balls
-1 large bowl of longan honey sea coconut desert
-48 packet drinks
key: raw cooked
includes utensils, cutlery, charcoal, fire starter, wire mesh, etc.
assuming everybody goes (wrong) each person pays = $232.63/37 = $6.29 approx
alternatively we can order from the items menu
all food is halal :)
total
total price = $232.63 + $420 = $652.63
each person pays = $6.29 + $11.35 = $17.64 approx
